Tell us a little about Intelinet Systems.

Intelinet Systems is an IT consulting firm that has been servicing Dallas and nationwide markets since 1982. Our end-to-end approach is highlighted by our range of products, services, and solutions that provide IT decision-makers with a single point of contact and a commitment to total customer value and satisfaction.

What led you to start Intelinet Systems?

Intelinet System was created in 1982 to repair typewriters. In 1986, a customer asked us to build a PC, which is where our IT roots come from.

What sets your business apart from your competitors?

With the longevity of our customers, employees, and internal processes, we have a well-oiled machine. Our ability to innovate and change with the changing landscape of IT helps a bit.

What do you wish you’d known when you were starting your business?

MRR, or Monthly Residual Revenue. It does not matter if you cut hair, have a nail salon, marketing agency, or masseuse; figure out how to sell a monthly subscription of your products and services. Clients like the predictability of knowing what they will spend monthly on your services, and you want the ability to understand your revenue each month. You will know you’re doing it right when all the bills are covered on the 1st of every month. Anything you sell past this is icing on the cake.

What is the most rewarding part of your job?

Knowing our clients are well taken care of. I have also built many solid friendships with these businesses’ owners.

How has being a part of the Preston Grove community affected you and your business?

Knowing Donna and the staff have our backs. They are willing to help and do what is needed to help us succeed. I like the events that are put together.

If you had a friend in town and you could take them to one of your favorite restaurants or spots in your community, where would you take them?
